Registering a representative office in the Republic of Moldova
In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova, resident and non-resident firms, their associates, and international companies have the right to initiate a company formation process to represent their activity on the local market without the status of a legal entity.
The necessary documents for the registration of branches and representative offices are as follows:
- Application for registration;
- The decision of a non-resident;
- Constituent documents in duplicate (must contain: name, administrative and legal form, head office, occupation, name / surname of the person in power);
- Notification from the National Bank of Moldova (in case of opening a representative office of a financial institution);
- Notification from the National Commission for the Financial Market (in case of opening a representative office of a credit institution).
For registration of branches and representative offices of foreign legal entities, the following documents must be provided:
- Application for registration;
- The decision of a non-resident;
- Constituent documents in duplicate (must contain: name, administrative and legal form, head office, occupation, name / surname of the person in power);
- A copy of the constituent document of the foreign legal entity translated into the state language;
- A document on the financial status of the legal entity in accordance with the latest reporting period.
